Synapsis

Referring, amongst other things, to Enid Blyton‘s „Famous Five“-series, they’re searching for the intense awareness of their early days. The audience is given the role of the ‚adult‘. On a carpet of cookies the four childhood-researchers delve into their subject, exploring all ages from infant to grown-up: Here the behavior of the child we believe ourself to have been, there the meta-level of today based on assumptions that are barely more than vague memories. Between dependence and sovereignty, fragility and brutality the stages of life are blurred to debunk myths of happy innocence and to question our expectations and wishes towards children today.
